OVERSEAS PRICES

  • We have many wholesale clients overseas, and they have to sell the products at higher prices because of the various expenses such as shipping, customs duties, handling, etc. To match local retail prices, the prices of products in our store are 150% of those in Japan if you access our store from overseas.
  • To enjoy the prices in Japan, we hope you can come and visit our stores.

SALES TAX

  • 10% for Japan
  • Sales tax is not charged for purchases from abroad.
  • Please note that all prices do not include taxes

 

DUTY-FREE

  • The BUNZABURO main store and other stores offer duty-free shopping, but please note that the online store is not eligible for duty-free shopping.
  • Please contact each store for duty-free terms and conditions.

 

POINT SERVICE

  • BUNZABURO's point service is a service that grants 3 points for every 110 yen (including tax) spent on products when shopping at our online store or the main store in Kyoto, provided you are a registered customer.
  • To register as a customer of our store, please do one of the following: 1. On the online store, click “Login” in the menu and proceed to “Sign Up.”  2. Please ask a store associate to “Register as a Customer” when you shop in our Main store in Kyoto.
  • Points can be used as 1 point = 1 yen on your next and subsequent purchases.
  • When using points online, please enter the number of points you wish to use in the white box next to the “Use Points” button in the cart.
  • Points will be reflected seven days after shipment for purchases made through the online store. However, please note that there may be a delay in reflecting points for system reasons.
  • To redeem points for purchases in our Kyoto store, please log in to the online store with your smartphone or other devices and present your customer barcode to our store staff.
  • Points expire two years after the last time points were awarded or used. Please note that all previously awarded points will expire after the expiration date.
  • In the event of a refund due to cancellation or return, the points equivalent to the refund shall be returned to us.
  • If you paid for a product using points and we accept the return of the product, the points used to purchase the product will be returned to your account.
  • If a customer returns an item after using points, and if the customer's point total falls below zero due to point deductions, the store may ask the customer to pay cash for the points that have fallen below zero.

 

GIFT WRAPPING

  • If you would like to gift wrap this item, please check the box on the product page: "For ¥500 per item, please gift wrap the products in this order" on the product page. If you order multiple quantities of one product, all will be gift-wrapped.
  • If you wish to "gift wrap" and "not gift wrap" the same product, please put the item to be gift-wrapped in your cart and then place the same item without gift-wrapping in your cart.
  • Gift wrapping will be done at our head office, and the item(s) will be delivered gift-wrapped. If you have more than one item, we will place sticky notes on the box so that you will know what is inside.
  • You can not order more gift boxes than the products you order. 
  • Please note that we do not offer the service of writing a message on a message card and enclosing it for the gift recipient.

 

SHIPPING 

Within Japan: Yamato Transport

  • All orders placed through this online store will be shipped after payment.
  • After confirming that payment has been received, the order will be shipped within four days.
  • If there is a large volume of orders or during holidays, shipping may take longer than usual.
  • You can also specify the delivery date and time only for the deliveries within Japan. Please select the delivery date and time in the "Specify Delivery Date and Time" section of the order registration screen.

Overseas - DHL

  • All orders placed through this online store will be shipped after payment.
  • After confirming that payment has been received, the order will be shipped within four days.
  • If there is a large volume of orders or during holidays, shipping may take longer than usual.
  • Please note that "delivery date and time" cannot be specified for international deliveries.
  • Shipments via DHL are carbon neutral due to the SGS approved GO GREEN program run by DHL.

           

 

SHIPPING CHARGES

Within Japan: 

  • Nationwide flat rate: 770 yen (tax included)
  • Shipping is free for orders of 10,000 yen or more per order, per delivery address, within Japan only.

Overseas: 

  • If the total price of a single purchase is less than ¥30,000: ¥4,000 (tax included)
  • If the total price of a single purchase is ¥30,000 or more: ¥8,000 (tax included)

 

NOTE OF INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • The amount to be paid at the time of purchase is the total of the product purchase price and shipping charges.
  • In addition to this amount, import tax, VAT (value-added tax), and customs fees may be collected after shipment, depending on the purchase price and the country of destination, and they are the customer's responsibility. In such cases, the shipping company will contact the customer.
  • Please check the customs information for your destination country before you complete the purchase.
  • For example, in the U.S., if the total of the goods and shipping costs is less than $800, it is duty-free; if it is between $800 and $1,800, 4%; and anything above the prices, whether personal or commercial, will be examined and subject to customs charges.
  • In Italy, anything below €150 is duty-free. Anything over €22 is likely subject to 22% VAT (Value-Added-Tax).

 

CANCELLATION, RETURN, AND EXCHANGE

  • We do not accept cancellations after the product has been shipped.
  • Please get in touch with us within three days of receiving the product in case of a stain, damage, or wrong product. We will repair or replace the product at our expense. 
  • We will not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective.
