This series of Petite Bags in lovely pale colors have cute puffy shapes made by "Miura Shibori," a technique in which the thread is applied only to the base of the fabric. The marble patterns of flowing colors suit the early summer sunlight. The gradations were created by using the traditional "sumi-nagashi" technique. Putting something inside a bag will expand it, and the delicate shifting of the colors is mesmerizing.

Designed and dyed in Japan, and shibori processed in China.
