BUNZABURO is a brand from Katayama Bunzaburo Shoten, a tie-dyeing specialty store established in 1914. The unique and bold designs that take advantage of the 3D texture of tie-dyeing form an entirely new “wearable art,” a fusion of fashion and art. Tie-dyeing, which spread from hippie culture to the rest of the world and has made a comeback as a trend, is fashionably sublimated as a form of tie-dyeing.
